These leaders will play a pivotal role in guiding and empowering TRN’s expansive member base, helping them build more resilient, high-performing recruitment businesses through shared best practices and peer-led learning.
TRN, a professional network supporting recruitment leaders across the UK and beyond, continues to strengthen its specialist communities. These appointments represent a strategic commitment to deepen practical support for agency leaders in the areas that matter most in today’s complex recruitment landscape.

Meet the New Community Leaders
Saeed Bor – Community Lead, Operations
As the founder of EmbeddedOps and a seasoned COO, Saeed brings extensive hands-on experience in operational excellence across recruitment. With a mission to build the recruitment industry’s first dedicated Ops community, he’ll support TRN members with the systems, processes, and thinking that enable operational success at scale.
“There’s a real opportunity to unite operations professionals in this space,” said Saeed. “Together, we’ll create a space to upskill, share, and grow.”
Caroline Lansbury – Community Lead, People & Talent
A board-level advisor and independent consultant, Caroline has spent her career supporting leadership and talent teams in high-growth businesses. She’ll guide members on building cultures of performance, navigating organisational change, and aligning people strategy with business goals.
“People are the heart of any recruitment business. I’m excited to help leaders build environments where people thrive,” she said.
Jo Finch – Community Lead, Finance
TRN’s own CFO, Jo brings deep financial expertise to the network. She’ll lead conversations and content around smart financial decision-making, planning for volatility, and accessing growth capital.
“The market has shifted. Now more than ever, strong financial strategy is a business advantage,” said Jo.
Allison Upton – Community Lead, Marketing
With over 20 years’ experience as a CMO in recruitment, SaaS, and consultancy, Allison joins as the Marketing Community Lead. She will work with TRN’s marketing partners to provide guidance on branding, demand generation, and high-impact marketing strategies that fuel sustainable growth.
“I’ve seen the difference TRN makes to growing businesses. I’m excited to contribute to the marketing success of our members,” said Allison.
These new Community Leaders will collaborate closely with TRN’s partners and member organisations to deliver targeted events, resources, and knowledge-sharing initiatives in 2025 and beyond.
