The advent calendar will be following a theme helping it tie into our monthly themed content schedule. And what better theme to do at the end of the year than looking forward to the future, the future of recruitment.
Now, 24-days’ worth of content is a lot, and while we’re sure we could create 24 bespoke pieces of content entirely ourselves, we thought it might be a better idea to get some different perspectives from our partners and friends. So expect a huge 16 articles from a variety of guest authors, from Social Talent’s Johnny Campbell to LinkedIn’s head of talent solutions Jon Addison. We’ve had a peak at the content we’ve collected and we’re really excited to open those doors and share it out.
It’s been a bumpy year for us in the recruitment industry, with Brexit and the rise of GDPR, everyone feels a little blindsided by it all, and we’re at that crossroads where we have experts hailing opportunity and growth in 2018, and others crying out that recruitment is forever doomed. AI, robots and mind-boggling technology are set to make an even bigger impact next year to what they have in ’17, and many experts are now (rightly) teaching the importance of great human lead customer service, trying to mend the reputation of an industry that oftentimes get unfairly treated.
We here at The Recruitment Network believe it’s actually a fascinating time for recruitment, with uncertainty it breeds opportunity and change forces people to adapt.
