An update 12 months on, from TRN HQ

12 months on from the networks start we reflect on how we’ve grown, our journey and look to what the future hold for The Recruitment Network!Just a quick update from The Recruitment Network HQ, as we reach the first-year anniversary since the launch of our unique club for owners and leaders of recruitment businesses back in September 2016.

Our objective 12 months ago when we launched the Recruitment Network was to give recruitment business leaders the tools, skills, advice and support to enable them to achieve their strategic business objectives, whether that be launch a new recruitment start-up venture, develop an existing business model, grow in size and profitability or even realise some form of commercial event, such as a trade sell or MBO.

12 months on, we have over 100 members now in the network exceeding targets, achieving record quarters and in some cases expanding at unprecedented rates.

The network has been supported this year by 22 industry thought leaders, 4 sporting legends, 11 recruitment entrepreneurs, 2 investors and some of the most inspirational and thought provoking subject matter experts.

Outside of the quarterly members’ meetings, we have delivered over 350 hours’ worth of free 1:1 consultancy to our members, and over 7½ thousand free training hours to our members’ employees!

Recruitment industry legends Graham Palfery Smith, Tony Goodwin and Simon Church have joined the Recruitment Network board to help guide our growth, new exclusive partnerships are being formed with industry suppliers and sector specialists, new member groups are launching to meet the increasing demand, our Trailblazers programme for 2nd tier management is kicking off and a new suite of innovative products, tools and services are being added to the private members’ portal.

We have expanded our team here at The Recruitment Network HQ to ensure we can continue to improve and evolve the member experience.

We are preparing to expand the network further afield in other geographical territories both in the UK and overseas, and we have some ground breaking technology in development that will literally transform how recruitment leaders will work.
